HONOLULU – Each year Hawaii Business magazine partners with the research firm Best Companies Group to rank the state’s top employers through an anonymous employee survey. The main part of the survey is a confidential questionnaire sent to a statistically representative sample of all employees. There are 78 questions and open-ended statements, and the employee responses make up 75 percent of a company’s score. The rest of the score is based on 80 questions answered by HR about benefits, working conditions and more. Over 100 companies and nonprofits, including Brown & Brown Pacific, registered for the annual program.
This year, Brown & Brown Pacific was recognized as Hawaii Business magazine’s No. 1 Best Place to Work in the Large Business Category. The last time we received this recognition was in 2013. We also placed 2nd as Hawaii’s Most Family-Friendly Company.
“Of all the record-breaking accomplishments we achieved in 2015, this makes us the most proud,” said Mark Fukunaga, chairman & CEO of Brown & Brown Pacific Inc.
